Dr. Prof Universitaire Jeanne Yonkeu
Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and President of the University of the Mountains.
Jeanne Yonkeu épouse Ngogang, born on September 17, 1948, is a Protessor Emeritus of Biochemistry at the University of Yaoundé 1, holding a Doctorate in Health and Life Sciences obtained in France in 1986. She has held significant academic and leadership positions, including Head of the Department of Physiological and Biochemical Sciences and Head of the Biochemistry Department at the Yaoundé University Hospital Center. Currently serving as the President of the University of Mountains since December 2023, she is recognized for her contributions to training health professionals and her research on traditional knowledge. A member of the Cameroon Academy of Sciences and author of numerous publications, she also boasts an h-index of 32. She is fluent in both English and French.
