The Université des Montagnes in Bangangté  welcomed a delegation from IHM International / IHM Africa for an important academic gathering. The visit included a conference led by Professor Georg Votava, Vice President of IHM, who addressed the complexities and possibilities of international collaboration in health education.

This was followed by a specialized training session focused training trainers  on diabetic foot management, delivered by Professor Dr. Thomas Eberlein, Medical Director of IHM. Tailored for physicians, medical professors, and teaching staff, this session represented a vital step in bolstering the academic and clinical connections between the two institutions.

The success of this initiative was also largely thanks to the University’s President Pr Jeanne NGOGANG , whose effective and highly professional contribution was key to coordinating the event. She actively supported the academic exchange and organized a dedicated master class on diabetic foot care, held at the Université des Montagnes. Her leadership was instrumental in ensuring both the conference and training session ran smoothly, further deepening the collaboration between the two institutions.
