Throughout February, March, May, June, July, and September 2023, IHM organized specialized programs on wound care and healing at its Center of Excellence. These sessions brought together over 150 healthcare professionals from across Africa. Participants represented diverse specialties — including deans, professors, surgeons, dermatologists, nurses, and doctors — and came from Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, Niger, Congo Brazzaville, Chad, Guinea Conakry, Togo, and Tunisia. This initiative underscores IHM’s strong commitment to building capacity and advancing medical expertise across the continent.
