Pr Dr Georg Votava stands as a foundational force within IHM and a principal architect of the IHM Africa platform. His initial journey to Tunisia was transformative; he became deeply captivated by the country and quickly recognized its immense potential as a pivotal hub for pan-African collaboration.​
He was the first to champion the establishment of IHM Africa in Tunisia. Together with Naïma Ben Mlouka, a dedicated leader, activist, and advocate across social and humanitarian domains, who strongly believed in Pr Georg Votava’s vision, they decided to embark on this journey side by side. The challenge began in 2023, and their partnership—grounded in shared values and unwavering commitment to the continent—led to the creation of one of the most dynamic and influential pan-African initiatives, developed in close collaboration with IHM International.
