Ms. Ayesha S.K. Engelbrecht was born in Aruba, Dutch Caribbean, a proud descendant of all migrant Grandparents. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in 1998 in ‘Behavior, Health Care and Society’, Policy, Governance & Management, and Human Resources Management in the Hague, Netherlands. Since 1999, she has been a dynamic manager and advisor for various Ministries and Government departments in Aruba. Well-known for her professionalism and unwavering commitment to public service and social justice, her remarkable journey spans multiple fields, leaving an indelible mark on policy, advocacy, and community development. In 2017, Ayesha S.K. Engelbrecht established the ‘NOVAYA FOUNDATION’ to promote projects that benefit the people. Later that year, Mrs. Ayesha, representing the CARIBBEAN, LATIN AMERICA, USA, and EUROPEAN countries, joined forces with the Vice President for NOVAYA FOUNDATION, Mrs. Naima Amri Ep Ben Mlouka ‘Mama Africa’, in the representation of AFRICA, ASIA, and ARABIC countries. Since then, Ayesha and Naima, operating under NOVAYA FOUNDATION, have been actively involved in networking, promoting awareness, and educational projects focused on empowering women and children for self-development. They aim to create a more equitable and just world for future generations and beyond.
