President of the African Union Business Council (AUABC), Egypt. Professor Amani Asfour is an emblematic figure in the field of entrepreneurship and economic development in Africa. She is the President of the African Union Business Council (AUABC). A businesswoman and international consultant, she has founded and led numerous successful enterprises in various sectors, notably manufacturing, export, ICT, and consulting. She is also President of the World Federation of Women Entrepreneurs (FCEM) and the Federation of African Associations of Women Entrepreneurs (FAAWE). Her leadership extends beyond entrepreneurship, as she is a board member of several financial institutions and international organizations, including the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank). Recognized for her advocacy for women’s economic empowerment and private sector development in Africa, she has received numerous distinctions for her contributions.
